About this itinerary
Yeosu is known for its markets and long-running local eateries, which makes it a great city to eat your way through on foot. This itinerary centers on places like Yeosu Coastal Ferry Terminal, Yeosu Fishery Market, Seo Market (4th, 9th), and every meal is a short walk from the stop before it.
From Incheon Airport it takes about 4 hr by AREX and KTX. Anything within about 20 minutes on foot, you walk.
You stay all 3 nights near Yi Sunsin Square and start every day from the same place — no repacking.
Day 1: Yeosu Coastal Ferry Terminal, Yeosu Fishery Market, Seo Market (4th, 9th). Lunch at Gwangjang Seodaehoe (Yi Sun-sin Square), dinner at Haechon Sanjang-eo Sut-bul-gui.
Day 2: Deokyang Market, Yeosu Prehistoric Ruins Park, Seongsan Park, Yeosu Art Museum. Lunch at Yeosu Surim Hoepotcha Main Branch, dinner at Rado 9900.
Day 3: Dolsan Bridge, Isabu Cruise, Yeosu Minam Cruise, Yeosu Marine Cable Car, Dolsan Park. Lunch at Yeosu Gejang Nangman Byeolsik, dinner at Gwangjang Seodaehoe.
Day 4: Yi Sunsin Square, Yeosugu Port. Lunch at Bada Siktak. Then head back to Incheon Airport.
Some market stalls close by late afternoon, so earlier is better. Go a little hungry and share small plates at several places.
