About this itinerary
This 4-day itinerary covers all of Seoul's top 20 sights from the Korea Tourism Organization's Data Lab ranking. Nearby sights share a day to cut travel time, and each "Top N" tag is the rank. The top five: Yeouido Hangang Park, Namdaemun Market, Mangwon Market, COEX, Namsangol Hanok Village.
From Incheon Airport it takes about 1 hr by the AREX airport railroad. Anything within about 20 minutes on foot, you walk.
You stay all 3 nights near Seoullo 7017 and start every day from the same place — no repacking.
Day 1: Seoul Museum of Art Seosomun Building, Namdaemun Market, Namsan Cable Car, Namsangol Hanok Village, Deoksugung Palace. Lunch at Myeongdong Gyoja Main Branch, dinner at Conpier.
Day 2: KT&G Sangsangmadang Arts Space (Hongik University), Mangwon Market, Mangwon Hangang Park, Nanji Hangang Park, Haneul Park. Lunch at Mangwon Market Kalguksu, dinner at Kim Youngsub Chobap.
Day 3: National Museum of Korea, Banpo Hangang Park, Yeouido Hangang Park, COEX, Lotte World Adventure. Lunch at Gayang Kalguksu Mushroom Maeuntang, dinner at Eoga.
Day 4: National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul, Jogyesa Temple, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gwangjang Market. Lunch at Jinjoong Uyuk Myeongwan Bonjeom. Then head back to Incheon Airport.
Popular sights are busiest on weekend afternoons — start early for a calmer visit and better photos.
